Story[]
In Year 20XX, Dr. Wily has not been seen since his last attack. Suddenly, robots unexpectedly begin attacking the city. This time, Proto Man is calling on all robots to rise up against humanity and take the world for themselves. Mega Man, unsure as to why Proto Man would be behind such an uprising, springs into action to take down Proto Man, because of his duty as a Super Fighting Robot.
Upon defeating the initial eight robots, Mega Man is still unable to locate where Proto Man is hiding until Dr. Wily calls the lab claiming that he has been kidnapped by Proto Man and his fortress is being used as a hideout. Mega Man is skeptical of Wily's claim, but with no other leads, goes to investigate.
After fighting his way through the fortress, Mega Man clashes with Proto Man and emerges victorious. Proto Man soon reveals to have been under Dr. Wily's control, who had faked his kidnapping. Mega Man and Wily fight once again with Mega Man emerging the victor. Once defeated, Wily again escapes as his fortress self-destructs.

Trivia[]
- The game has been in development for four years right after Mega Man +1 and Mega Man Next (Not confused with the flash game by Maelstormm) was cancelled.
- This game's stage select music shares a homage to the Ruby-Spears Mega Man cartoon. The game's title also appears to be a reference to the cartoon's theme song.
- The Thwomp enemy from Super Mario Bros. can be seen in this game. However, in this game, Thwomps have their design changed to have their eyes inside their mouth, which engulfs more of their face, and they can be destroyed with Giant Axes. In the credits, the name of the enemies are called T.N.A.T. (Totally Not A Thwomp)
- This is the only Mega Man Fangame where Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty makes an Appearance, which explains why Justin Roiland (Despite a lot of controversies about him) was listed in the credits
- In Trash Man's stage, one of the 8 RMs from the cancelled Mega Man Next (Again, not confused with the flash game by Maelstormm) are seen in the graves minus Battery Man, who now appears as a mid boss
- Arin and Danny, known for the web series "Game Grumps" are listed in the Credits thanks to their lets play on Mega Man 2
