Galaxy Man: Declination is a conceptual fan game by D-Boy Wheeler, starring Galaxy Man from Mega Man 9. The game has him facing the Evil Energy, but to do so, he must face the Bootids (each named after a star in the Bootes constellation), as well as clones of the solstice (Summer/Winter) Constellation robot masters from Rockman Strategy.

Galaxy Man starts with some energy shots and his Black Hole Bomb. Some sections of the stages require him to use his UFO form.

Story[]

[Text] 20XX

{Galaxy Man exploring space.}
[Text] Long after Dr. Light and Dr. Wily passed away, Mega Man had reverted back to Rock. Past Robot Masters were rebuilt and reprogrammed for good. Galaxy Man had went into space, doing more exploring of the cosmos.

[Text] But soon, he needed to fill the role of hero.

[Text] The Evil Energy that Mega Man and Duo had faced long ago had returned. Eight robots known as the Bootids had come to spread it.

[Text] In addition, Galaxy Man learns that duplicates of the Constellation robots had arrived to aid in the spread.

Intro Stage[]

Intro Stage: Space Station (his stage in Mega Man 9)
Boss: False Cancer (his Bubble Beam is easy to dodge)

Stage Select 1: The Bootids[]

  • Blazing Mirak {Fire Element Boss; looks like a knight}
    • Weapon: Flame Lance (a fiery javelin thrown forward)
    • Weakness: Aqua Snare
  • Freezing Arcturus {Ice Element Boss; also has a bear head for a helm}
    • Weapon: Polar Comet (a ball of ice, with the face of a polar bear, that is shot forward and breaks like the Crystal Eye)
    • Weakness: Flame Lance
  • Ampere Muphrid {Electric Element Boss; also has a sort of ninja theme}
    • Weapon: Electrified Chain (a sickle and chain that is electrified; similar to Thunder Claw)
    • Weakness: Herd Chaser
  • Pursuit Nekkar {Seeker Weapon Boss}
    • Weapon: Herd Chaser (a seeking missile)
    • Weakness: Zhou Clock
  • Marine Merga {Water Element Boss; only female}
    • Weapon: Aqua Snare (a chain of bubbles)
    • Weakness: Electrified Chain
  • Forest Princeps {Nature Element Boss; looks like a Greco-Roman noble}
    • Weapon: Herbal Command (a spreadshot of leaves)
    • Weakness: Polar Comet
  • Whirlwind Arcalis {Wind Element Boss}
    • Weapon: Andorran Gale (a tornado shot)
    • Weakness: Herbal Command
  • Clock Xuange {Time/Space Weapon Boss; looks like an ancient Chinese warrior with a clock}
    • Weapon: Zhou Clock (a spacetime screen nuke)
    • Weakness: Andorran Gale

Stage Select 2: The Constellation Robots (Summer and Winter[]

These serve as sort of the "Doc Robot" stages, except each have their own stage.

  • False Leo (weak to Flame Lance)
  • False Virgo (weak to Polar Comet)
  • False Aquarius (weak to Electrified Chain)
  • False Pisces (weak to Herd Chaser)

Before Final Stage: False Capricorn (Weak to Aqua Snare)

Final Stages[]

The final stages are in the Evil Energy Eclipse Shadow, a strange floating planetoid.

Evil Energy Eclipse Shadow 1: Flight Toward the Planetoid
Boss: Orbiting Devil (a large Devil orb; weak to Electrified Chain--hit the eye)

Evil Energy Eclipse Shadow 2: Planetoid Surface
Boss: Master Adamski (giant Adamski saucer that shoots a powerful "lightning" laser and missiles; weak to Herbal Command--hit the dome)

Evil Energy Eclipse Shadow 3: Descent Shaft
Boss: False Apollo (sends out various Fire Attacks; weak to Andorran Gale)

Evil Energy Eclipse Shadow 4: Planetoid Core

Final Boss: Evil Energy
